Good location for a short...

Liked: Breakfast was good and staff too.
Disliked: Room 5 very hot on a sunny day even with aircon on and windows open.Shower very small for such a large bathroom and needed more shelves for toiletries and another mirror. Car park could do with a better surface.

Great location, lovely hotel

Liked: Great location and staff were lovely. The room was a bit 'tired', especially the carpet, but the bed was comfortable and the bedding was crisp and clean. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Great breakfast.
Disliked: Stairs were steep and wonky, but we were warned in advance.

Enjoyable stay

Liked: Great location. Parking. Good value. Great breakfast. Original features. Nice decor in rooms. Quiet at night
Disliked: While we appreciate the building is old and has uneven dimensions, the bed in our room sloped so that you had to lie with your feet higher then your head which we found uncomfortable. Maybe something could be placed under the head of the bed to level out the sleeping position. The bed was also very soft which isn’t our preference. This wasn’t the case in all rooms as our friends room had a harder bed and was level.

Disliked: A little tierd and stairs not good for anyone not mobile. But overall didn't affect us
