Very enjoyable

Liked: Nice entrance, garden and bar area but not allowed in restaurant as we had a dog. We felt quite isolated!
Disliked: Our room! Grubby carpet and tired decor. No coffee table or decent well lit mirror Very expensive and definitely not worth the money.

Disliked: Rooms a bit basic but ok. Shower over bath didn't have a grab handle for safety.Wardrobes not deep enough so door didn't shut when clothes in..minor irritation

Poor excuse for a receptionist.

Liked: The food was delicious with a excellent choice 😋.
Disliked: We arrived just after 14.00hrs both rooms were ready as we were spending the weekend with friends who were not sure when they would be arriving or which day ! I explained the situation to the lady who gave us the key to our room .I was later informed by my friends partner that they would be arriving around 22.00hrs so I informed a member of staff called Joseph who said it was not a problem + he would give us a key to there room as there would be no staff available from 22.00hrs. So we waited + showed our friends to there room as they were tired .After a lovely breakfast with our friends we arranged to see them later as my friend was modelling in a charity event that afternoon. As we were making our way to the shop across the road from the hotel a member of staff ask if she could have a word with us .We were taken into the dinning room and informed how rude our male friend had been to the young receptionist, and that he continued to be threatening towards both herself and the lady Manager. I found this not shocking + upsetting but couldn't understand because he had been fine at breakfast ! It ruined most of our day but we decided not to discuss this further with our friends. It later transpired that it was the young receptionist that was infact rude + raised her voice and that she didn't like being questioned regarding there booking policy! .It was my friend who requested the cancellation policy and was rudely told that I hadn't bothered to inform her that they had infact stayed the night ,well how did I get a key for there room ! The incident caused the 4 of us unnecessary anxiety and stress! .I suggest that a Hotels front of staff should be on there best behavior and not there to be rude towards guests staying with them and in my opinion the young receptionist needs further training in customer services + front of house respect for fee paying guests!

Liked: Staff and food were excellent, room was clean and bed was comfortable cant fault it.
Disliked: The room at the front was a bit noisy from the road as the window needed to be open. But overall a good stay.
