BEST hotel we have stayed...

Liked: Excellent staff in all departments. Extensive high quality breakfast menu,served by courteous staff. Main menu having a diverse range of dishes suitable for all tastes. Good wine list and bar. Restaurant/Bar staff very professional providing more than excellent service. Rooms clean,spacious and atractive,excellent Housekeeping staff. Reception efficient and above all friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Room lighting could be a little brighter for autumn/winter months.

The perfect start

Liked: The warm welcome from all of the staff. Our group really appreciated the efforts made throughout our stay by all of the staff. Excellent food with plenty of variety. Lovely, clean rooms that were well prepared.
Disliked: Nothing

The perfect stopover hotel in...

Liked: Food good , lovely atmosphere and very professional staff.
Disliked: Our attic room was a bit hot, even with the widow open but still had a good night.

Perfect place for where we...

Liked: Breakfast was lovely with lots of variety and a big selection. For was good. The bar staff were lovely and really helpful especially when a poorly friend came to visit and we felt able to give her lunch and wine with no intrusion. The dinner was really lovely and lots on the menu to chose from. Staff couldn’t do enough for you and were always willing to help. The location was perfect for us to be close to our friend.
Disliked: Quite an expensive room price. The bed wasn’t very comfortable which was a shame. I have arthritis and it was really stiff all night. The bed was quite uneven and the bedding wasn’t really ‘hotel’ crisp. I couldn’t understand why they started hoovering at 8am on a Saturday morning. Seemed a bit noisy and unnecessary on a weekend !

Disliked: Nothing much.
