Lovely pub, great staff, could...

Liked: The pub was so lovely - really warm and welcoming and beautiful decor. The staff were great and the village location was very picturesque. The price was super reasonable, as we were only there for one night after a family party.
Disliked: The bed was incredibly firm, which made sleeping a bit achey, and the en suite needed a new floor (leaking from shower, and heavily stained). There was also mould on the voile curtains and round the window.

Good location but over priced.

Disliked: Yellow stains on floor of bathroom.

Disliked: Breakfast was average. Over cooked poached egg and sausages but good bacon. Television could do with being updated and a bit smaller.

Value For Money

Liked: Location good for access to Stratford Upon Avon and other local attractions.Value for money good for room size and furnishings etc.Food ok, although some elements not so good - veggie Wellington reheated and beef over done.
Disliked: Shower enclosure needs good clean, black mold.Some breakfast items under cooked and rather cool. Would be good to have buffet selection of cereal/fruit/yoghurt.

Disliked: Room 6 I was allocated, situated above the kitchens and their door banging continuously all afternoon and evening till 10 pm!! No heating working in the bedroom or bathroom so didn't shower before leaving, A very disappointed customer.I have spent several nights at The Wheatsheaf Woking and that is perfect, hence me booking The Kings Head.
