Liked: Lovely country pub hotel with great facilities. Our room was really comfortable, lovely bed, great nights sleep. Quality bedding and linen & toiletries. Loved the fact they had a 12pm check-out time (quite rare these days) ♥️ All the staff were super friendly and efficient. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and also breakfast, all the food was delicious and good value. We would have no hesitation in visiting again.

Disappointing food

Liked: The location, staff were friendly
Disliked: Room was too hot, double glazing prevented opening tge windows, had a fan but it was very small.Food was not good, steak had no taste, chips said they were tripple cooked, but didn't taste like it.Breakfast asked for crispy bacon, it wasn't. Croissant was hot, why? It was awful. Why not a buffet breakfast?I'd stay again but would not eat there

Liked: Good restaurant food, nice seating.
Disliked: Attitude of one member of staff on arrival and check-in was absolutely awful. Cold, aggressive, unfriendly, impolite. Considering I booked four double rooms and a table to dinner for eight people, she was so unhelpful and the way she spoke to me was unacceptable.
