The Spotlight on The Kings Arms

Classic Pub Charm Just Minutes from Ealing Broadway

A warm and welcoming stay awaits at The Kings Arms, a traditional British pub-style hotel in London’s leafy Ealing neighborhood. Just a 7-minute walk from Ealing Broadway Underground Station, this cozy hideaway blends the charm of a local pub with modern amenities. With its private-entrance bedrooms, on-site restaurant, and lively bar with games and live sports, it’s a laid-back base for music lovers heading to gigs across West London.

Why Concert-goers love it

Thanks to the nearby Ealing Broadway station, you’re well connected to central London’s biggest music venues without the crowds of the city center. After a late-night show, it's easy to hop on the Tube or a night bus back. Rooms come with private entrances, giving you added flexibility and privacy—ideal for slipping in quietly post-concert. Free WiFi in public areas and flexible check-in from 14:00 makes settling in a breeze.

Who this Hotel is great for

- Groups of friends looking for a social, pub-style base
- Solo travelers on a musical pilgrimage
- Couples planning a relaxed weekend escape with live shows
- Fans who want a quieter neighborhood vibe after a gig
- Budget-conscious music lovers seeking value near transport links

Food and Drink Options

The Kings Arms serves up classic British pub fare alongside global daily specials. The on-site restaurant and bar are perfect for grabbing a meal before heading out—or winding down after. While there's no 24/7 room service, a continental breakfast is available, ideal for those slow mornings after a late night. Several eateries are within walking distance if you feel like exploring.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel doesn’t host live music itself, the bar offers a friendly atmosphere with a pool table, darts, and live sports on TV—great for pre-show meetups. Ealing Broadway has a selection of pubs and bars within walking distance, or you can be in central London’s nightlife scene in under 30 minutes via the Tube.

What People Say

Guests love the friendly pub atmosphere, the convenience of the location, and the clean, comfortable rooms with private entrances. Many mention the hotel’s great value and praise the easy access to public transport. The bar and games room get frequent shout-outs for being a fun way to kick off an evening.

Areas for Improvement

Rooms are above a pub, so some noise can filter through—though many guests say it quiets down by bedtime. WiFi is only available in public areas, which may be a downside for those who need in-room connectivity. Also, the hotel’s classic pub setup means there’s no elevator, so pack light if you're assigned an upper-floor room.

The Bottom Line

With its pub-style charm, convenient location near Ealing Broadway, and great transport links, The Kings Arms is a smart pick for concert-goers who want a relaxed, affordable London stay.

Very clean and above expectation.

Liked: Its conveniently located next to a mall where one can buy all necessities
Disliked: It’s a bit noisy at night, but understandable as it’s on top of a pub. Bring earplugs!

Staying at pub hotel in...

Liked: Authentic atmosphere (english pub & its surroundings).Transport (direct lines from Ealing Broadway to Kew gardens, central London, Heathrow airport).Clean room.
Disliked: Staying at pub hotel may not be for everyone (due to cooking smells, noise at night time sometimes).Breakfast quite monotonous but sufficient for starting the day right.
