Extraordinary

Liked: Very nice and comfortable, very nice and friendly staff, and then with very good live music. Very comfortable and clean room, very quiet all night long.
Disliked: It is absolutely extraordinary !

Closest place to where I needed to be for business meetings the next day.

Liked: Dog friendly. Owner very approachable. Awesome atmosphere.
Disliked: Unfortunately, on the day of arrival the kitchen was not running for evening meals.

Superb

Liked: Warm welcome and a very accommodating landlord. Really good wholesome food, cooked fresh to order., and reasonably priced. Good allround experience.
Disliked: Nothing specific.

Overall lovely place however could do with a few adjustments to make it better.

Liked: Staff friendly and welcoming, lovely pub with character.
Disliked: Stay would have been made better with a few things : room was always cold, radiators were never on, tea / coffee making facilities and toilet roll not enough for 2 nights - would of been nice to be offered more. Was asked if we wanted to book food , then when we went to book a table. Was told the kitchen was closed for a deep clean all weekend but this wasnt mentioned when asked the night before. Told we would have a 10 tab behind the bar but this never materialised. Hand soap would be useful in the bathroom.

Bad

Liked: Place was not clean tried to cancel and get a refund but they refused 150 lost as refused to stay not as advertised in photos.

Over priced, not as described

Disliked: There was a funny smell in the room and bathroomNo food served including breakfast despite saying it did Came out in the morning to find two lads stood round my car
