Needs attention

Liked: Size of the bed and bath. Breakfast choice and service
Disliked: Got sent to wrong part of hotel for our room. Up two floors, back down. Redirected. Up 2 floors, no lift. Key card didn't work. Called reception. Came up with new key card. Didn't work. Went away. Came back with working card. Bathroom ill thought out. Sat in Bath you looked straight at an unfinished window with peeling paint. Toilet seat loose. Floor in room sticky underfoot like a dodgy pub carpet.

Great hotel in historic Berwick

Liked: Great location in the centre of Berwick. Quirky hotel with history.
Disliked: No real ale in bar

Basic hotel central to town....

Liked: Great location in centre of the town with parking just outside the door on the main street. Good range of restaurants and lively bars in town.
Disliked: Filthy rug by the bed which we asked to be changed. Room could have been cleaner and better maintained too - it was a bit rough around the edges.

Disliked: Additional cost of breakfast, chose to give it a miss

Would return as staff were...

Liked: Lovely location, main part of the hotel was stylish and the bar was very swish ! Staff were lovely. Breakfast was also excellent!
Disliked: Upstairs was a little dated and rooms were fairly basic although bathroom was very nicely finished. Parking was also a bit tricky as had to wait until after 5.30 to leave the car near the hotel and then had to move it by 10am.
