Cool spot with a lively...

Liked: Great location in the heart of Malmesbury, a block from the Abbey and an easy stroll to restaurants and shops. The beer garden was a beautiful spot to enjoy a drink and admire the gorgeous countryside. The room was large and well equipped.
Disliked: If you are in a street side room, the curtains let in a lot of light, and the pub patrons were boisterous and gathered on the street below (which could be an issue if you are a light sleeper or need to get up early). No problem there, because the morning lorries will wake you with their trundling down the street! I always travel with ear plugs and a face mask and would absolutely stay again, but would request a stable room, which are in the more quiet courtyard.

Lovely place to visit, kind...

Liked: The staff were really friendly and helpful. Design of room was lovely plus a nice pub to visit.
Disliked: Unfortunately my shower door wasn't fixed on properly so wasn't the best shower and felt nervous it was going to fall on me. Wish they offered a little something for breakfast but good that Coffee 1 only two doors down.

Great location but wouldn’t return

Liked: Location and the Beer Garden
Disliked: Small room which was very hot and road noise outside very noticeable. Entrance to limited Car Park very very narrow. The power shower very poor.

Nice place over shadowed by...

Liked: The location right in town was great. The room was fine too though it was very hot and we had to take the duvet out of the cover as it was just too much.
Disliked: The man at the bar who also gave us our room key was simply rude- like we were intruding. They were busy but that was no excuse. We didn't have any encounter with other staff. Maybe he was having a bad day, but he seemed happy to be behind the bar.
