Enjoyable and lovely staff but...

Liked: Central location, quirky room, very clean
Disliked: Lots of stairs - we’re both 80 so stairs to room with luggage not as easy as it used to be. No lift. Short walk to municipal car park, but again needs consideration when you’re older.

Liked: Central location, loved the nightlife very relaxed and friendly. Hotel staff helpful and welcoming. A great base for exploring. Lovely decor. Comfortable beds. Breakfast Lovely (they even kepted ours warm as we nearly missed breakfast
Disliked: Advisor bathroom needs abit more window privacy..

Liked: Service and food were of a really high standard. The room was stunning. Will be staying here again.
Disliked: A lot of noise from outside at night...will be asking for a room at the rear next time.

Disliked: Stairs are quite difficult to top floor if have mobility issues. Poor pressure in shower however no doubt due to age of building.

Visiting Family

Liked: The bedroom was lovely, well decorated and clean. The bathroom was off the little hall way rather than through a door in the bedroom. The hotel provide a good breakfast, tea and coffee are served to the table along with hot food that you can order off a menu. There is also cereal, yoghurt, pastries and juice that you can have straight away. Toast is available too, you get a little rack and can choose white or brown bread or a mixture of the two. The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by shops and other bars and hotels. Bus stop nearby and in walking distance to the lake.
Disliked: The stairs were hard work! It would have been nice to have a choice of jam at breakfast.

Nice pub, friendly and well...

Liked: Nice rooms, clean and spacious. Breakfast excellent.
Disliked: Overlooking market square, and market stalls set up from 5am - not an issue of the hotel but would have liked a little more sleep! Felt expensive for a single night for a pub room.
