Very good

Liked: Lovely breakfast, and plenty of it. Staff were friendly and helpful and there's a nice sea view from the hotel. Only a short, safe walk to restaurants, bars and shops
Disliked: Being a slightly older build the soundproofing between rooms could be improved on but as it's not on main pub and club area you're not getting noise from the street at closing times

Disliked: Had one small problem with the window in our room it only opened about 2 inches. And as was a very hot weekend the room with very hot we had to hold the door open to let some air in

Great location, but some disappointing...

Liked: The hotel is in a fantastic spot, right opposite Tolcarne Beach, and the reception area is modern and clean. Staff were friendly and professional – I especially appreciated the front desk lady handling a big group of Italian guests with real grace.My ground-floor room, which I thought it’s a bit unusual to give a ground floor room to a female solo traveller, was very clean and nicely decorated.– Excellent location, directly opposite beautiful Tolcarne Beach– Modern and clean reception area– Friendly and professional front desk staff– Clean and nicely presented room
Disliked: Unfortunately my room faced ongoing building works. I had to keep the curtains shut the entire time due to noise and lack of privacy, which really took away from the experience. The shower was also unreliable – either not working or very weak depending on the time, and the room was quite hot even in mild June 22c weather, so I had to keep the fan on constantly.– Room faced building construction – no view, noisy, and lacked privacy– Had to keep curtains shut at all times– Shower pressure was poor and unreliable– Room was quite hot, even in mild weather– Was placed on the ground floor as a solo female traveller, which felt unusual

Liked: Our room was good. The breakfast choice was slightly limited but was very good. the location was great.
Disliked: The housekeeping could have been better.
