An overall pleasant experience, but...

Liked: Location, comfortable room, friendly staff.
Disliked: Breakfast ought to be improved: more fruits and vegetables are necessary for the hotel to be excellent!

Fine with a cleanliness misstep

Liked: In general, this was a clean and comfortable hotel in a nice area.
Disliked: There was stinky, half-eaten leftover food in my refrigerator when I arrived. After asking the staff for it to be removed, 4 hours later it was still there. To their credit, the next staff member that I spoke to moved me to an entirely new room given the smell and my disgust. But this should have never happened to begin with and should have been fixed quickly.

Exceptional

Liked: The breakfast was good! Loved that there were gluten free options!! The location was fantastic. Close to Cambridge activities and super easy to get to all the activities downtown Boston. The staff here went above and beyond to make sure our stay was exceptional.
Disliked: The pillows could be firmer, but that isn’t even a big issue.

Other than the restaurant being...

Liked: The cozy vibe, the firehouse theme, cleanliness and location. We felt very safe.
Disliked: Our only disappointment was the restaurant/ bar area. We were notable to comeback to the hotel and relax with a drink etc.
