Works in a pinch, but...

Liked: Great Staff, Friendly and helpful. Thank you.Location is Great being central town, not Historic-downtown but near High School on Main St. / US-550. Secure Space for Bikes. Direct-Access to city bike/pedestrian trails without car traffic leading south to the Train-Station(2.1 mi.) or North to who knows where else mainly car-traffic-free.Just saying if the owner's are interested in making this facility truly EPIC; take a gander at the BIVVI/Brerckenridge, for an impressive model to strive for. Still under $40/bunk/night.
Disliked: Too Spartan with Ikea-like cheap bunk-beds; Not Being Rustic. Could use a lot of solid wood more rustic materials in the rooms / bunk-beds and furniture / fixtures etc.Gang graffiti on bridge next to parking.Just saying if the owner's are interested in making this facility truly EPIC; take a gander at the BIVVI/Brerckenridge, for an impressive model to strive for. Still under $40/bunk/night.

Decent place

Liked: A little smelly in the hallway, but the rooms very totally fine. Decent place for a roadtrip stop.

Poor

Liked: Heater worked well
Disliked: Floor was a bit dirty, towels and bedding stained. Lots of noise from floor above. We arrived at 7.40pm and the reception was closed despite the hours saying it should be open. Called the number and it was not answering. Eventually found an emergency number and they were able to give us a code to the lock box which should have been emailed to us. We had an early departure so left the key in the key box that said it was for early departure. This box is at the front of the property and not locked. There was a homeless woman and child in the car park watching us. We left at 3.30am and it was freezing so I wouldn’t blame them if they took the key and used the room. If you’re taking a security deposit the key return should be secure!

Liked: Staff is v. friendly. Great hot water.
Disliked: Graffiti on creek-bridge near parking reflected some mischief has occurred in the past.

Great price but you get...

Liked: Very low priced - this one was half the price of any other property in town. Decent look and rooms, clean - but you get what you pay for. However for one night it is perfectly fine. There are some communal areas to use - lounge, kitchen, which was a nice amenity.
Disliked: Very thin and flimsy bed covers for a cold night, and heating wasn't great either. Only one extra duvet, but since it was 3 of us sharing two double beds, not enough. Reception closes at 9 pm and we realized we don't have enough covers a bit later, so there was nobody to ask to get extras.Communal kitchen - filthy and full of half eaten food from previous guests, a bit of a bio-hazard, also barely any dishes or cutlery - seems like they don't clean that area regularly or maybe ever.

Great value.

Liked: Stand out staff. We got very good recommendations about place to go and eat in town. Also, btw 15-20 minutes in walk distance to the cute downtown.
Disliked: A little old building, but well kept and clean ☺️

Very poor

Disliked: I didn’t like paying for three nights and being kicked out the second night due to smoking from a visitor. I was asked to leave the facility and was not refunded my third night. I emailed the manager and his reply was that breach of contract they didn’t fill they needed to refund me the night I was not there.
