A pleasant and exceptional stay

Disliked: Sound insulation is not very good

Exceptional

Good

Liked: Location, grounds and staff. Lovely afternoon tea, would highly recommend.
Disliked: Unfortunately, we had a metal frame bed and this was very squeeky getting in and during the night when I moved. I reported it to reception but no action was taken, not sure if anyone checked the bed as requested, I certainly had no feedback. As a result I had disturbed sleep for 3 nights, they could not move us as the hotel was fully booked!

Very good

Liked: All was good. Food was good, although not exceptional. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and apart from anything else, that would encourage me to return.
Disliked: The shower doors had gaps so it was hard not to leak water onto the floor

Disappointing

Would stay again.

Liked: Everything very good,breakfast was excellent.
Disliked: Beds were very squeaky when turning over or moving in room one.

Exceptional

Liked: Staff were welcoming attentive and friendly.
Disliked: The mattress was too firm for me.

Extremely enjoyable - it proved...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. Fresh coffee and a wide choice of dishes cooked on the spot. The scrambled eggs and salmon on toast could not have been improved anywhere. The dinner menu was wide and the one time we tried it the food was excellent. It is also a good idea to offer sandwiches in the bar until 8pm and the ones we had on one occasion had lovely fresh bread and copious fillings. My room, 23, though small, was immaculately clean and had everything needed including a very good shower.
Disliked: I could not get Sky News on my television (usually 233) or Drama +1 (60). I did try other numbers but was never successful. It was quite a complicated remote control so it was probably something I was doing wrong.

Perfect base for touring the...

Liked: Lovely rural location yet only five minutes drive from Faversham. Room was clean and comfortable, in one of the chalets.Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.
Disliked: The flow from the hot water tap was weak. (Cold water was fine)
