Liked: Great room, amazing staff who were very helpful and engaging. Nothing bad to say about this place, the stay was exceptional and would definitely stay there again. There was still a lot of things to do and see in the area and the trip was great.
Disliked: Nothing bad to say really. There could have been a vaccine for covid already so that the breweries in Dallas could be open, but everything was still great during our stay.

Great stay, but be sure...
Liked: We stayed in a Joule Suite for a staycation for 4th of July weekend. The property was nice, the room was nice, the tub in the room was amazing. All of the staff were super helpful and very attentive. The spa....oh wow, that spa. I?m not really a spa person, but I can be convinced to change my ways for that spa. The room temperature pool alone is worth the cost, so if you are staying here, I would highly recommend getting any spa service. The stay itself really couldn?t have gone better.
Disliked: The only reason this isn?t a ?no problems at all? review is because of something that I still don?t understand that happened. At the beginning of my stay, my card was charged the full amount of the reservation, plus the amount they charge as a deposit in case you get room service or have some other charge from the property. That?s fine. Makes sense.After being charged the FULL amount for my stay plus the deposit, every single day of my stay, I was charged the going room rate for that day as a pending charge on my card. I guess I got a pretty good deal because the amount was much higher than what I was paying. To be fair, the charges dropped off after a couple of weeks, so it?s not that they actually charged me that amount, but they put a hold on my card for that amount each night. When I asked about this at checkout, he said they put a hold to be sure that you can pay as like ?a credit check.? Why would you need to do a ?credit check? at all, much less when I?ve already been charged the FULL amount for my stay (which had already cleared btw)? I never really did get an answer that made sense. Luckily, I was using my travel rewards card, so it didn?t mess up my bank account.TLDR: they may put a hold on your card for much more than you owe for unknown reasons. Be sure you can afford not having access to funds accounting for more than double what you actually agreed to pay for awhile after your stay.

Disliked: I loved staying at the Joule. It was a very nice a clean hotel. The staff were friendly. The rooftop pool was amazing. I'd definitely comeback again.

Liked: Since we like eclectic, boutique hotels in urban settings, Joule was over the top! Loved the art, loved the service & the pool was awesome. Staff was attentive & personal but respectful of our privacy. Our experience topped expectations, can?t do better than that.
Disliked: Nothing to say it was all good.
