Disliked: Shower has a flow restrictor in it, makes taking a shower longer, especially rinsing out hair.

Liked: A simply wonderful hotel, with an excellent location right near Rockefeller on Fifth Avenue. A large and spacious room, laundry facilities, and a floor offering free coffee. Deliveries are gladly accepted for guests’ rooms. Simply excellent!

A true jewel in the...

Liked: Fantastic location, across the street from the Rockefeller Center and a few steps down the road to St. Patrick's Cathedral and the fabulous shopping on 5th Avenue. It had a small entrance lobby, which was manned at all times. Other than the unbeatable location, the one other thing that really made this boutique hotel special was that everybody looked like they were happy to be working there. The vibe was friendly, professional, relaxed and warm. We had arrived early in the morning after an overnight flight from Vancouver and were invited to freshen up and have coffee in the lounge on the second floor. They kept our bags while we went around until our room was ready in the afternoon. We were given an upgrade to a bigger room, which gave all three of us a much appreciated breathing space. The room itself was very clean, tastefully designed and very well equipped, the beds were comfortable, 2 pillows per person, warm blanket. The bathrooms had walk-in showers, which we prefer over a bathtub. There was a kitchen, which we didn't get to use, but it was fitted to prepare meals. Our short trip to New York was made exceptional by our stay at this hotel. Truly a jewel!
