Disliked: we were put in an attic up 2 flights of very steep stairs . The room was tiny, and the young lad behind the bar wasn't expecting us. Window was at the floor level of the apex of the roof, and a light right outside the window was on as long as the bar was open.The cistern in the toilet was broken and ran all night. loudly. I am sure the other rooms in the hotel were fine but we seemed to have bagged the last post.

Friendly staff good vibe pub

Liked: Very friendly staff. Breakfast was not available but we knew this when booking. Nice vibe in the pub with good music. No parking but can park across the road for free. Easy check out system. Rooms ample, comfy beds and clean towels. Bathroom clean and bright. Perfect for one night as we were meeting family to celebrate a birthday.
Disliked: Very tired looking carpets in the bedroom with stains so could really do with being replaced. Music was played till after midnight in the pub which was quite loud and we could easily here this in the rooms. I had to wash coffee cups as there were stains in mugs.
