The Inn on the Mile

A good place to stay if you want to be in the centre of things, but too noisy if you want peace at night.

Liked: Lovely room; attentive staff; brilliant porridge at breakfast; city centre.
Disliked: Situated beside a bar that doesn't shut until 3.30am. The designer bathroom was cold and the taps were difficult to figure out.

Liked: It was in a good location for visiting the Royal Military Edinburgh Tattoo. Hotel is lovely, staff are really nice and helpful.
Disliked: The shower ran cold water, but im sure this will be sorted.

Liked: Great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was fantastic, and had great amenities. We regretted not booking an extra night.

Fine location but too expensive!

Liked: The location is great - near the train station which was important for me. The room was clean and comfortable. The price was ridiculous but I couldn't find anything near the train station for less than 200 Euros a night other than half a bunk bed in a hostel.
Disliked: The cost.

Liked: The perfect location to visit Edinburg city center. A/C was nice to have during hot summertime
Disliked: Tight space in bedroom & no way to turn off heated towel bar, right next to toilet in bathroom was very hot! For price & being part of restaurant breakfast could have been provided
