Superb

Liked: We love The Inn On The Lake and were proud to show our son and daughter in law where we like to stay in the Lake District. We always have a balcony room and got o ne for them as well. They were very impressed with the super king sized bed and said they didn't want to leave it.! High praise indeed from a couple who have travelled the world. We had a lovely evening meal, everything was cooked to perfection. We will be coming back with them again soon
Disliked: The only downside to our stay was with breakfast. I had eggs benedict which was cold on arrival as was the poached egg with avacado, also my husbands fried egg on his full english. My sons scrambled egg was fine. Very disappointed, a bit of a letdown as the eggs were perfectly cooked but they, and my hollandaise sauce could have come directly from the fridge.

Excellent hotel, superb venue &...

Liked: Our room was lovely & spacious. With everything you would need, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was lovely & plentiful with lots of choice. Our cooked breakfast came out lovely & hot. Dinner was well presented & great, couldn't fault the hotel at all. All the staff were super friendly & very polite
Disliked: nothing we were very happy with our stay

Exceptional hotel.

Liked: Exceptional hotel with quality at every turn. It really does deserve the fabulous reviews x Beautiful food and grounds. We had a stunning view over the lake from large windows in our room.

Beautiful hotel with the best...

Liked: Breakfast was exceptionally good.Lovely room with superb view.Dinner was very good and excellent wines at reasonable prices.
Disliked: We booked over a 3 day bank holiday weekend and there was a wedding on each of the days, which somewhat impacted our stay. Had we booked directly with the hotel they would have informed us of this.

The views are stunning

Liked: Everything revolves around the lake views, which are simply stunning. The food is very good and, although the wine list limited, we found very good options.
Disliked: There were a couple of instances where the waiting staff were not well organized. That said, they were friendly and efficient when deployed correctly
