The Inn on Storrs

Liked: Convenient, nothing too special but nice overall

Would not stat again

Liked: close to UCONN
Disliked: Wait time to check in- 30 minutes. Room smelled stale and toliet had to flush twice to get down. Shower was cold. Our view was a dumpster of dirty stained mattresses. Hardly anything breakfast items, for price charged for room expected better quality.

Storrs Inn is a clean,...

Liked: The location was ideal. The motel was a short drive from UCONN (our purpose for being in Storrs). The room was cleanand quiet. There was easy/available parking. If we were in the area again we would definitely consider using thisfacility.
Disliked: The "breakfast" area was qutie nice. The coffee/food....however, left quite a bit to be desired. There were NO tops (to prevent spillage) for the coffee cups. The coffee machine....meh. The "items" for breakfast....also....meh. The saving grace is that directly across the street is an awesome McDonald's!

Good

Liked: Location for University of Connecticut was convenient. There are also stores and restaurants nearby. Rooms were clean and spacious.
Disliked: There was no one available at check in. Breakfast options need improving. There was no hot food. Just the basics; coffee, tea, juice, yogurt and some fruit. We chose not to have breakfast at the Inn.

The staff were great.

Liked: -The staff were great! And patient when I had to return my non-functioning door card every time I went to my room. -The shower head was fabulous. And nice warm water.
Disliked: -The breakfast was muffins in the plastic from the store, yogurt, dry cereal, oatmeal packets. -The keycard to my room didn’t work. Every time I left the room, I had to go to the reception to get a functioning card.

Bad

Liked: The heater made VERY loud noises all night long. It sounded like a spaceship was landing in the room. It was incredibly disruptive to sleep. It’s a shame because the room was nice, bed was comfortable and it was very clean.

For the money spent for...

Liked: The location had a pool
Disliked: The room smelled of marijuanna and we had to switch rooms. Also upon arriving, the guy at the front desk was pretty rude.

Do better with the pool...

Liked: The room was perfect
Disliked: But the water in the pool was cold it should be really warm and the Jacuzzi the buble wasn't working the have to fix that for the price is not worthy.
