Happy we stayed here

Liked: It is a wonderful historic building. We did not find the train noise an issue, the view of the river is beautiful. It is very convenient if you are riding the Erie Canal. Food in town is a little hard to find with off hours, but the kitchen at Stone Mill is well stocked with snacks. The grocery store is actually your best bet for pre made food. My only picky gripe is that I wish there wasn’t plastic on the windows - maybe something leftover from Winter.

Unique and modern hotel on...

Liked: We like a hotel on the 3rd floor of an od stone mill. Finishes inside were very modern. We arrived off the erie canal trail on Memorial Day. We were really hungry but almost all restaurant were closed and we had no car. Owner was there and said it was OK to snack on what we found in the kitchen. We did. For dinner we purchased ready to go meals at a local grocery store, warmed them up in the kitchen and ate there. Found space in the hallway to park e-bikes and charge them overnight. Rooms and bathrooms were very nice and comfortable. Very quiet area that day to explore.
Disliked: Was unware this small town was mostly closed on Memorial Day. Might have moved our stay earlier by one day.

Finally a great room ..

Liked: Great room except the walls could use a little soundproofing..bed was great comfortable..Keurig in the room nice decor very clean extra large room ..bathroom was large hostess was very friendly. Joined family for breakfast..had coffee and everything was great easy check in and out..will return..perfect..
Disliked: Could hear room next door tv..but it wasn't on long.so it was manageable..
