Hotel Description
Located in Lakehead, The Inn at Shasta Lake features accommodations with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to our gardens. The bed and breakfast offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with bathrobes, slippers and shower. We do not have kitchens in any room. We are in the Shasta Trinity National forest. Nearest restaurant is 5 miles away, nearest gas station 8 miles away, nearest grocery store 12 miles away. We are 'not' a city location. We do 'not' serve dinner (only breakfast). We do not sell groceries or convenience store items! Cell phones go 'out of range' in our area. We email/ call and text you close to your arrival date to ensure a smooth check in. Redding is ~15 miles from the accommodations, while Shasta Lake is ~1.5 mile from the property. The nearest airport is Redding Airport, ~22 miles from The Inn at Shasta Lake. We are close to I-5 and a railroad track from which some noise can be heard.

Exceptional

Liked: It was very cute and easy to get to. The staff were super helpful and kind.
Disliked: The breakfast that is included could use some work but it’s a wonderful amenity to have

Comfy cozy spot in Shasta…...

Liked: Very comfortable, all our needs were considered in so many tiny ways, like bath salts for the clawfoot tub.
Disliked: I wish there was a bit more around it. But they’ve done a good job providing for you so you don’t need to leave.

The Inn at Shasta Lake...

Liked: Max, the proprietor was wonderfully considerate and thoughtful when I had to change my reservation to an earlier date. He found the perfect room for us. I did not get a chance to meet him in person but he certainly made us feel at home.
Disliked: It was great!

I will be a repeat...

Liked: Everything. A perfect quiet little get away to rejuvenate.It was clean, comfortable, pleasant furniture and the food they offer for dinner is delicious. A wonderful stay in the trees.
Disliked: The drive way to the cabin but honestly, it’s still worth it.
