Superb

Usually I am underwhelmed by...

Liked: It was beautiful and well kept with historical significance. The Breakfast was far better than anticipated and the cocktail hour was a great experience.
Disliked: Horseback riding needed to have been set up weeks in advance… but I didn’t know it was an offering..

Liked: Tours sounded interesting but did not get chance to try them. Pleasant staff on front desk.
Disliked: Basic rooms. Unattractive blocks of rooms in the middle of woods and had to walk through woods to get to and from restaurant .Kept trying to contact front desk but phones did not works On short tour of the Carolina’s and this is by far the worst hotel

Liked: Breakfast was phenomenal! The grounds were gorgeous.
Disliked: The room smelled of smoke and made clothes smell that way. (Fireplace)

Liked: Nice and and isolated in the woods good starting point to visit Middleteon plantation
Disliked: The rooms could use a bit of renovation breakfast was good and pleasant, the hotel does not have elevators to the upper level makes it difficult to get to get to the upper levels.
