Very good

Ruined our Easter weekend :(

Liked: Beautiful bar and lovely staff with delicious free treats. Lovely old school charm. This is my second time visiting, however will not be returning or recommending.
Disliked: 1. Terrible housekeeping. Dusty room and mould in shower area, dirty cutlery. 2. Extremely noisy - we could hear people chatting outside on the streets and fellow guests as well. Got woken up in the middle of the night both nights due to the cars zipping past; after falling asleep, we were then woken up by the clock tower at 6am! And we aren’t light sleepers so light sleepers avoid! 3. False advertising on their website. They state robes and slippers included - however these weren’t provided. 4. Sparse mini bar 5. Room service - limited and not available as advertised (this was due to the public holiday). Menu did not work on the TV. 6. No jazz live music as advertised - we were looking forward to this. I’m assuming due to the public holiday. This was not communicated to us.

Liked: Great vibe. Spacious rooms that well well appointed.
Disliked: A breakfast offering would have been good because there wasn't a nice cafe open nearby.

Liked: The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: We stay at Inchcolm a lot but this was the worst experience we have ever had. The room looked like it had been used. There was long black hair all through the bathroom. We also noticed what looked like dog hair. The room was very very dusty and really needed a good clean. We were so very disappointed. Things seem to have changed considerably more recently.
