Decorated in Mediterranean style and built in 1866 this hotel is just a 10-minute walk from the center of Torquay and offers stunning bay views large bright rooms swimming pools and a health club. The Imperial Hotel sits on top of a cliff and overlooks Torquay and the yachts on the water. The beach Torre Abbey and English Riviera Center are all within walking distance. Our stay was booked last...

Liked: The hotel was although dated and could do with a lot of exterior maintenance the inside was well equipped and luxurious in places. The views over the bay from sea facing rooms was astounding. The breakfast was exceptional with everything you would want.
Disliked: There was little to complain about, but the outdoor pool was unavailable and obviously needed major work to get it open. It is located up a fairly short but steep incline
