For £75 a night it...

Liked: Staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was good. Location excellent with free on street parking, or a private car park if you wished.
Disliked: The hotel is tired and needing refreshed. The bathroom was exceptionally dated and had carpet! Broken tiles at the bath with sharp corners. Difficulty getting shower to a bearable temperature, either scalding hot or cold. Towels were clean but visible stains and well used - could do with replacing. Windows draughty (although it was a particularly windy night). Bed ok but not great. No mattress protectors fitted and sheet kept coming loose from mattress. A mirror in the bathroom over the basin would be a good addition. Room wasn't warm but that suited me, and there was a heater available if necessary.
