For the price it was...

Liked: The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. The room was reasonably comfortable.
Disliked: The decor leaves much to be desired. The £100 deposit was in case we trashed the bedroom which happens. This was not a comforting thing to say to two elderly ladies!The orange juice at breakfast was not good. Service was a bit hit and miss. The person waiting at tables also cooked the food to order which was OK when there was only one other table.The breakfasts were very good. It was very hot so we had to have the window open and it was very noisy with road works and heavy traffic. The pillows were like bricks.

Cheap and cheerful, fab location!

Liked: Good central location and parking was a bonus (it is across the road). Towels and bedding were clean and nice quality. All staff friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The hotel is very basic and needs an update/decorating but we couldn't complain for the price we paid. They do take £100 fee (card) on check in in case the room is damaged, this was returned on day of check out.
