Liked: The rooftop bar- the laidback quality of the hotel- we had the best time- staff members made the whole experience enjoyable and personal by setting up a ‘happy birthday’ message and gift in the room - just great
Disliked: The bikes!! We really wanted to ride the bikes but they were flat and no locks

Average at the hotel.

Liked: The FoH team need to be far more friendly when welcoming new guests. An incident had occurred before we arrived that impacted our checking in. That’s not acceptable.
Disliked: As above.

Superb

Liked: The hotel was very nicely designed and in a great location. It was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Amina at the front desk was incredibly helpful with local places to go and things to do. Would absolutely go back!
Disliked: Rooms were very nice, but very small.

Fairly pleasant stay but the...

Liked: The food was good, service friendly, staff very pleasant
Disliked: The lighting in the room was very poor. I appreciate it is nice to have a certain 'ambience' but when you are getting ready to go to an event (wedding in our case), you really need to be able to see, especially to put make-up on. The room had little natural light and none in the bathroom where the the best mirror was located. It would have been really helpful to have the option to put lights on around or above the mirror. We also tried to alter the air conditioning but couldn't see a thing, so had to use the torch on our phones. On the back of the door there was a notice to say that the money had been spent on a new safe for the benefit of guests, tbh it would have been better spent on some light bulbs.
