Very good

Liked: The design and its proximity to the metro station was great.
Disliked: The mattress is not attached to the bread frame, it simply is placed on a flat wood board and it keeps on slipping when we move around. Then, we have to get up and push it back into place. Also, there were no house slippers for us to use.

Good hotel but could find...

Liked: Everything was nice and clean. The decor in the rooms and hotel was lovely. Good size rooms, with full length mirror which was great. We were here for primavera and was a 10min tram to the festival which was really easy and convenient
Disliked: I don’t feel like it was worth the price, it was a good hotel but nothing extra that warranted the higher price point. I also really wouldn’t recommend the rooftop bar ‘tope’ they over book reservations so even with a reservation and arriving on time 4 different groups including us didn’t get the cabanas we had booked for the day and instead got what sun loungers were left. They tried to say this was our error for reserving too late despite the fact we shouldn’t have been able to make a reservation if no bed were available ?!

Liked: Hotel itself is lovely, great design with comfy beds and lovely rooftop terrace
Disliked: The rooms are not sound proof, I could hear beds next door and everything from the corridor. It was unusual paying for a hotel that made you pay to use their sun beds. There were also 2 slots a day, so if you paid for one you couldn’t stay for the day, you had to pay for 2. The communication and service wasn’t great either.

Liked: No drawers to put clothes in.
Disliked: Small room for money.

Cool vibes in great location...

Liked: Chose The Hoxton for its location in Poblenou for its easy access to metro and bus to the F1 circuit. So glad I did. Poblenou is a completely regenerated industrial area with a wonderful local vibe. Away from mass tourist areas. This is reflected in the design of the hotel. Despite it being busy was never noisy and slept well. Breakfast well worth the money as is the mini bar concept which doesnt rip you off! It just oozes cool ! Roof top terrace views incredible. Paid extra for Biggy with View and although pricey 100% worth it for the vista to La Sagrada Familia. It’s a 20 mins walk away abs the beach a mile away.
Disliked: Pillows too soft- would be good to change to firmer ones.
