always reliable. See if you...

Liked: Great location, surroundings.
Disliked: The air con was blowing straight onto the bed so I couldn't sit or lie without getting chilly. I turned it 'off' at the wall but although the screen registered blank, the air kept coming. Any chance of aiming the vents straight ahead not down? Thanks.

Pretty nice!

Liked: Self check in was easy. The room was well provisioned for a short stay including a healthy breakfast option. Information about cafes and restaurants within walking distance was also very helpful. The Houston is high end quality. Cleanliness, indoor comfort and security were excellent.
Disliked: Although we loved everything inside The Houston Suite, the provision of comfy outdoor chairs on the balcony would be an opportunity for improvement. The chairs had no cushions or coverings and the cane was as hard as bones! Needless to say we didn’t sit there long.

Pleasant serviced suite, not a...

Liked: This place offers serviced rooms/suites, it is not a boutique hotel, or a hotel at all. The suite we had was perfectly nice with a heritage feel to it. There is a pleasant enclosed courtyard and the parking was very secure. The location is good for accessing the town centre by foot.
Disliked: The service is completely impersonal, all done by text/e-mail. I may be old fashioned but I prefer to be welcomed by an actual human being and to know that there is someone there to assist if needed.

Great

Liked: Convenient CleanModern Easy instructions to get in and out of the car parkNeat little kitchenette Lovely soap and nice muesli
Disliked: The door dividing the rooms - we think a bit of noise travelled. Too much outdoor lighting shining through the windows Other patrons got confused and were banging on our door twice in the middle of the night. Not sure how they confused our room for theirs when there wasn’t that many rooms.
