Liked: Excellent location
Disliked: Buffet breakfast not great

Good in Parts

Liked: Clean, comfortable room and lovely staff. A great city centre location. Nice coffee machine in room.
Disliked: Breakfast was disappointing, limited choice and breakfast area poorly laid out, we felt it was poor value. Room amenities weren't 4*. Very limited tea tray and toiletries (no lotion). No full-length mirror and wall mirror poorly located. We didn't think the hotel represents good value for the money paid and can't make up its mind what its target market should be - tour groups or individuals/couples.

Was a great stay overall....

Liked: Great location and great staff.
Disliked: The king size double bed was 2 single beds with a big matress on top.We had to pad with a towel so that the shower water would not get to the carpet.

Liked: The bed was super comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, and the room was a good size.
Disliked: Nothing

Looking forward to going back...

Liked: Location was terrific. Within 10 minutes walk to the Latin Quarter plus all the shops and pubs. Rooms were clean and they had a good breakfast. Good value for money.
Disliked: Parking. I understood that it was free parking but we had to park a little way down the road (10 minutes walk) in a Q-Park garage. It was possible to pay for the parking at the hotel and it was 50% cheaper than normal so it was not a big problem but they should not promote FREE parking on the public roadway when that is not possible.

Liked: This is a wonderful hotel with a great location in the vibrant city of Galway! The staff are friendly, the breakfast was delicious, the beds comfortable and the facilities very clean.
