Great location and chic design

Liked: Clean room, chic design, many free outdoor/sporting equipment available, free arcade games/pinball machines in the lobby, friendly staff, comfortable bed. Location is great if you want to stay near downtown Portland, close to the streetcar station, PSU farmers market, proximity to good food etc.
Disliked: Breakfast was a bit basic

Conveniently located hotel that did...

Liked: Conveniently located hotel that unfortunately did not tick all the expected boxes. I booked the hotel as it was recommended by Booking.com and offered a good price. The hotel is hip and people at reception were wonderful. Unfortunately it was not up to expectations. The rooms and hotel in general are OK but close to start feeling dated. There was no proper restaurant and food service offered. The first night we ordered food upon arrival and the quality was not the best. We opted for the breakfast option and it was basic and underwhelming. Low variety and quality of food, plastic and paper plates and cutlery. If I would’ve known the above I would probably have taken a different option to stay.

Liked: The front desk staff were so friendly and accommodating. They answered all of our questions and helped us out in so many ways. They even helped us lower our parking price. This hotel was above what we expected for the price.
Disliked: The breakfast could use a little more.
