Pleasant

Fine.

Liked: Have stayed many times before. Love its distinctive Victorian architecture and “olde-world” charm.
Disliked: Didn’t ask, but would have preferred a room closer to lift (arthritis!). I tried to use the upgrade option from a Booking.com email, but it wouldn’t work.We’ve stayed here many times before. In the past reception staff have known this and acknowledged it, with small courtesies … Not so, this time … Don’t “expect” it, but it’s nice when it happens …

Fabulous overnight stay for my...

Liked: Ambience and home away from home feel. Ability to have fresh air in the room if desired. Bedding and furnishings echo quality.
Disliked: We did notice a small mouse scurry from under the tub chair to behind the bed late at night ( we did have a cheese platter sent up to the room!)

Disappointing that the free breakfast...

Disliked: I special request was made for free parking but I just found out my friend had to pay $30. Very disappointing to hear this.Also the booking included free breakfast but the The Hotel Windsor staff did not honour this

Liked: Old world charm and the care taken at breakfast. Thanks for getting us a delicious cooked breakfast ready when they knew we were short on time! Greatly appreciated!
