Very nice facility. Too bad...
Liked: great staff, resturant, front desk, easy parking.
Disliked: paper towels in kitchen. Garbage cans in kitchen, bedroom, living areas.

Liked: Very clean and nice property. The staff here is amazing. They are very professional and accommodating. We are always greeted with a smile and they take every opportunity to extend a helping hand.

Liked: Friendly staff. Free parking. Rooms were small, clean and new, like a nice Hampton Inn. Screwed shut windows offered a few of the train tracks and muffled the loud horn.
Disliked: Misleading advertising. This property is not a lakeside retreat on the shores of Lake Minnetonka. It's a few blocks from the lake across from train track. Photos on website are not of property details. Staff agreed that marketing was misleading.

Liked: not much
Disliked: Only one elevator was working causing delays, so we took the stairs. Some sort of guest daily fee was charged...news to us. The shower had hair in the corner. There was free bottled water but had to ask as to where it was located....in a cabinet below the $8 Fiji water on top of the cabinet. There was certainly no water view from our room as advertised. In general the hotel is extremely overpriced.

Extremely disappointing room features, though very nice staff.
Liked: Staff very friendly and competent. Pretty hotel.
Disliked: Fans in toilet extremely noisy and can't be turned off. Maintenance had to come next day and disconnect. Hotel knows this is a problem (!), but hasn't gotten around to replacing fans in all bathrooms yet. No safe in rooms (unless you book a large suite). And safe deposit boxes behind front desk not big enough for a laptop. At these room prices, incredible there aren't safes in every room! Amount of room service tip not up to the guest -- they automatically add 24%! (in addition to a delivery charge). No door of any kind separating toilet from bathroom sink area. AC unit is right next to bed and very noisy. All this is typical of a 1 or 2 star hotel, not a 4 star charging over $400/night.
