Liked: We stayed at the suite and it was spacious with nice view
Disliked: There was cart rolling noise above us constantly, which is super annoying. We also found brown smudges on one of the towels and the bed sheet of the extra bed.

Given the construction going on...not...
Liked: The staff were incredibly nice and under the circumstances, trying their best to be customer focused.
Disliked: If we were given a discount on our rooms because of the construction, then maybe my negative review is unwarranted. But with the water off in the middle of the night and the restaurant closures, it didn't feel like we got our monies worth. The upscale restaurant upstairs was closed on the night we stayed. We ate downstairs and it was woefully understaffed. Our waitress did her best so not her fault. Food took forever and wasn't quite right due to kitchen being overloaded. But the main complaint is about breakfast. Our breakfast bill for two (and no other choices) was what, about $70. To pay that much for a temporary buffet that didn't even include juices and things like toast and muffins or in my case, specialty coffee, was not right. We left the hotel that morning extremely disappointed. The only uptick... was how nice the staff was as they truly were trying and you could tell they felt bad.

Nice hotel
Liked: Beautiful hotel...a bit pricey but a nice hotel. We only stayed a few hours as we checked in late (after 8 pm) and their late check out only allows till 12 pm. I would suggest if only staying here overnight, look for something more economical... we chose this hotel because we are from Hawaii and the name of the place caught my eye, lol. We weren't here long enough to give a good review but to say it is a nice hotel. Oh, they have a cute little chocolate shop with some delicious and beautiful aurora chocolates... go check it out, the chocolates are high quality and delicious!!
