Liked: Hotel Britomart boasts a truly excellent location, perfectly situated for exploring the area. The rooms, while embracing a minimalist aesthetic, were adequately sized and offered a remarkably comfortable bed and luxurious bedding – a definite highlight for a good night's sleep.
Disliked: The hotel occasionally felt like it prioritised "form over function," leading to some minor inconveniences. Our coffee machine, unfortunately, wasn't working, and the tea selection in the pots was mixed up. Only discovering after brewing the tea as they were not labeled individually. Simple amenities like spoons and saucers were notably absent, contributing to a feeling of being a bit too "minimal" at the expense of practical convenience.The "smart" panels controlling lighting, blinds, and temperature, while visually sleek, proved to be somewhat impractical in use. For instance, attempting to slightly adjust the blinds required raising them entirely before being able to lower them to the desired position.Ultimately, Hotel Britomart is a lovely looking establishment in a fantastic spot. If you're looking for a stylish hotel and are less concerned with these finer practical details for the price point, it's a good choice. However, those who value seamless convenience and attention to small functional details might find themselves wishing for a bit more
