Lovely stay

Liked: Great hotel, rooms very clean and comfortable. Excellent meals and friendly staff. Great breakfast. Used spa for treatments and again cannot fault anything. Perfect position for exploring local area.
Disliked: Bar service can be quite slow during busy times as have to order food and drinks through there if not booked in restaurant or sitting outside

Liked: Oysters were amazing. Breakfast was spread out and the variety was delicious. We asked for small English and that was still enough. Honeycomb honey was a special treat. We went to the Motoring Pageant and also found a Wildlife Nursery with a nice cafe and walkround gardens.
Disliked: One member of staff - could not get a smile from her. Dog treats mouldy... but were replaced immediately. Waiting for evening meal... but it was worth the wait.

Liked: Fantastic location beautiful old building and comfortable bedroom.
Disliked: Breakfast was disappointing there was no cut up fresh fruit /nuts seeds overnight oats etc No fresh bread to cut . Cooked breakfasts were available.

very nice but very simple...

Liked: breakfast was average for the price but still adequate. I had a roast for supper and asked for it rare. it came with virtually no meat and what was there was cremated.first room was tiny and, even with air con, stiflingly hot and a tiny bed but still a lovely room. the second room was exceptional! they were very helpful with changing rooms.
Disliked: One member of staff behind the reception was lovely and very helpful but unfortunately all the rest of the staff were unhelpful and bordering on rude.
