Excellent, highly recommended

Liked: Aside from our room being in the eaves and the challenging access (I’m over 6’ tall), I would highly recommend this as a place to stay for anyone visiting the area. The staff were welcoming, the food was good and reasonably priced and the Inn is in a good state.
Disliked: Sound of road traffic in the early morning was an unpleasant surprise!

Lovely rooms and great value...

Liked: Lovely room (the Snug) with comfortable bed and gorgeous decor. Loved the little touches (plants and books and Dyson fan to keep us cool.
Disliked: Nothing, it was perfect for what we needed.

Liked: Lovely old Cotswold building with great charm & character. Comfortable rooms with everything you could want available.
Disliked: Nothing

Charming stay with nice touches...

Liked: Modern and updated bathroom, shower with hot water and good water pressure. Cozy, charming ambiance, great food, the manager was extremely sweet. Bed was comfortable. Towels were nice. Fresh milk for your coffee and tea is a nice touch.
Disliked: The parking situation was a little challenging when we arrived, but eventually got sorted. The pillows along the window sills had holes.

Liked: Very comfortable and cosy room, with a good sized bathroom. The staff were really friendly and the service was exceptional. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant and the food was superb.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Very cozy rooms, good food in the pub, clean.
Disliked: Nothing major. I would come again.

Liked: Really nice friendly place. Good solid 'pub grub'; usual Butcombe breakfast which is always good. Will be going there again.
