Missing food items and short...

Liked: The rooms were good, clean and the showers were huge
Disliked: The food and service were appalling. The evening menu was very poor, with hardly any options for vegetarians. The food at breakfast was appalling. No butter!!! For over a day!! We had to borrow butter from other guests who had to go out and buy their own! Hardly any yoghurts. No fresh fruit at all!! We were not even offered tea or coffee!! The person serving was on his second shift!!! And NO MANAGEMENT were present AT ALL!! The missing items had been unavailable for over a day!!!

Beautiful place, just a few...

Liked: Superb location, lovely building
Disliked: They really need to sort the WiFi out, as soon as you went upstairs we couldn't connect, even downstairs it was very intermittent,

Liked: Clean
Disliked: It wasn’t the property, it was the lack of staff. Residents were not happy about the long wait for food. Staff who were working looked stressed and under pressure. We left before having part of our meal delivered to us. There was a large wedding party, additional staff should have been on rota to deal with everyone not just the wedding party.

A charming place to stay,...

Liked: A lovely hotel/restaurant in the countryside, ample free parking. Exactly what we wanted to start our road journey round England and Scotland.Area very picturesque, my Australian friends where charmed by the chocolate box look of the surrounding area.
