Parking ticket

Disliked: Got a £60 parking ticket for using the car park despite the fact that I was a paying guest. This property has now closed down, so there is nobody to contact to resolve the issue.

Ok for a short stay

Liked: It was close to the area we needed to be in. Bar downstairs was decent. Bathroom was ok, bed comfortable. Nice old building.
Disliked: Room a bit small, headboard made with wooden garden decking. Not a lot around the actual hotel if on foot.

Superb

Room was filthy, no door...

Cheap and uncomfortable.

Liked: Handy location if you have a car.
Disliked: No bathroom door, strong disinfectant used pevaded the whole room, very unpleasant. No reception desk, no staff around, no food or drink served, pub and restaurant seemed to be shut.

Bad

Liked: The staff were friendly
Disliked: Cleanliness was bad and sleep was terrible

Liked: The staff were friendly.
Disliked: No soap provided and just one towel each. Pillows smelled as though they hadn't been washed in a while, or if so not dried properly. Kettle too big to fit under tap. No water glasses provided.One of the mattresses felt life sleeping in a boat. The lock to the fire door is badly damaged and the key kept getting stuck.

Liked: Good location for where we were working,lovely staff,comfy beds
Disliked: Shower not very good,only had 1 meal but wasn’t the best tbh

Bad experience

Liked: Location, comfortable bed
Disliked: 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel for 2 people. No shampoo etc. No teaspoons. No glasses although there was water. Insufficient milk and tea bags. Kettle hard to fill through mixer tap. WC didn't work properly and stopped working 2nd night. Carpets grubby. Won't be going back
