Good breakfast, but a little...

Liked: Great breakfast, lots of options of hot & cold options and I was able to get oat milk on request.
Disliked: A little disappointed with the room bearing in mind it was recently refurbished.It was a very small room and everything seemed to be quite old and needing replacing. A handle was missing on the wardrobe door, this would have definitely have been noticed when cleaning the room!!Had to ask at reception to speak to someone working at breakfast, they told me someone would be around soon and just to sit and wait! Thought this was pretty rude as I’d already been waiting 10/15 mins and not one member of staff had been seen in the breakfast area. In the end, I had to knock on the door at the kitchen where I found the person working the breakfast shift just to be chatting with the chef in the kitchen - very unprofessional.It’s a shame as I’ve visited for Sunday lunch before (pre-covid) and the service & staff were fantastic but didn’t get the same experience with this stay.
