Liked: Location was good for us travelling to places of interest breakfast was good. Enough to choose from . Car parking was good . Only one thing that could be better is the pillows not soft enough .

Great value, great location, great...

Liked: Great value in a good location to go and explore. Lovely bjg comfy bed in a deluxe room. Nothing was too much trouble all the staff were really helpful and friendly. Great cooked breakfast buffet. We had a room overlooking the courtyard which we were a little worried about initially as there were weddings both nights we were staying but we didn't need to worry, we slept really well both nights.
Disliked: Booking.com wrongly assumed we would need two rooms as a couple with a baby, I had to call to check that we would actually be fine in one room which the hotel were quick to assure us would be fine.

Disliked: In the middle of no where. No facilities within walking distance. Shower did not work properly even after speaking to reception. They told us it was a known problem but was not rectified

Nice historic hotel in a...

Liked: Nice historic hotel, well maintained, clean, we had a renovated room with a really good design, free parking, very good breakfast.
Disliked: Soundproofing in the rooms is not very good, as is typical for most historic buildings. The location of the house is somewhat remote, but this did not bother us at all as we were just passing through.

Liked: Convenient, reasonably priced , staff lovely , comfy bed
Disliked: First picture makes it look like a country pub. It was only after I’d booked I realised it was a big venue. It wasn’t a problem but was not what I initially thought.

Liked: Great location and wonderful breakfast
Disliked: The TV was very small and there were some spiders in the room. Also the bathroom ceiling is peeling and there was a damp smell.
