Liked: We thoroughly enjoyed our room - 911 - what a great view!
Disliked: I didn't know where to park in order to register so I ended up with a $25 parking ticket within 5 minutes.

Great location and friendly staff!
Liked: I loved the location. The bed was comfortable and the view was incredible! The staff was also very friendly and accommodating…
Disliked: The furniture needs sprucing up, the couch was dirty and there were no menus of restaurant in hotel or around the city. For a suite, I was a little disappointed but I also understand it hasn’t been renovated since 2015 I believe.

Not pleasant at all.
Liked: The room. The bed. The shower.
Disliked: Upon checking in the lady spoke poor English and didn’t understand my questions. It was confusing and took over a half hour to get checked in and I wasn’t properly explained about some things. Other people were equally frustrated. The whirlpool which was a draw for me when I booked wasn’t even running. The room was freezing. They had heat off. They brought 2 little space heaters but they didn’t do much good.

first night was great. Power...
Liked: The bed was very comfortable, very nice bathroom. The room was clean and there was an abundance of toiletries. The location downtown was perfect.
Disliked: Our pullout sofa was broken, the hotel lost power and we were not advised of the power outage even though it was a scheduled outage by Nova Scotia Power. The elevators were not parked for the outage and we had to listen to children stuck in the elevator on our floor. The fire department was there making a lot of noise needlessly(if the elevators were parked on the ground floor no one would have gotten stuck. Which mean no fire department would be needed). Our 7 year old was scared, she would get stuck in the elevator and had issues sleeping that night because of the broken sofa bed and the elevator issues. Have stayed here 4 times over the last year and a half and this was by far one of the worst hotel experiences we have had. Also we couldn't use the pool because of the outage...(was a main reason we booked this hotel). Not impressed.

A comfortable stay within easy...
Liked: The beds and pillows were really comfortable and we loved that the king suite had 2 pullout couches so each of our kids had their own beds.
Disliked: The power went out while there and the elevator was glitchy the rest of the day.

Liked: breakfast was incredible
Disliked: Supper menu at restaurant is boring. We ended up just getting a drink and eating elsewhere. But breakfast was fantastic
