Lovely historic hotel

Liked: The room was large and we also had a fridge which is a bonus. The bed was comfortable. It has a great lobby. We did have issues with hot water during our stay but were compensated without me having to ask . The people on reception were very helpful regarding the issue, so on that basis, I won't leave negative feedback as my issue was resolved. Good and prompt customer service outweighed the issue .(I have, however, mentioned it because it happened and feel my review should be honest.)Problems can happen, but ten out of ten for a quick resolution.
Disliked: Hot water issues, but we were also compensated for this, so the issue was resolved. Although originally a negative, it turned out positive.

Disliked: Trains that are coming by at night at least 6x per night. Loud honking of the trains just in front of your room. Very noisy, even with earplugs.No breakfast.

Wonderful experience - would stay...

Liked: While the property is over 100 years old it is very well maintained and has all the modern conveniences.
Disliked: The history and the cleanliness.
