Liked: I LOVE The Davenport and have been staying here for years. My family used to gather here "back in the day", we weathered the years it was closed and in disrepair and I continue to celebrate it's renewal. Never disappointing. Love the beds, great night's sleep. The new lobby bar is delightful and comfortable. I appreciate the N/A cocktails. Wonderful spot to unwind after a long drive (no disrespect to the Peacock Lounge which is also wonderful). I do miss the sweet shop but it is still a fabulous stay in Spokane and easily holds its own vs. The Olympic in SEA and The Benson in PDX. Bravo! Wandering the halls enjoying the vintage photos and memorabilia is also fun and it's right downtown. Walking distance to Riverfront Park, shopping, other restaurants, etc.

If you want ambiance great...

Liked: The hotel is beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was extremely soft, not good for people who have bad backs.The slow cooked prime rib was over priced and over cooked, was not good for the price that we paid.
