Disappointed.

Liked: Location.
Disliked: No window curtains so we had bright lights shining in our windows the whole night. Noisy on the top floor.

Really good -- I will...

Liked: I have stayed here several times and love it. The building and rooms are wonderful -- large and provide storage so I can unpack. Staff is helpful and congenial. Breakfast and the cocktail hour are a bonus. It is walking distance to Old Salem and downtown.
Disliked: On this particular stay my room was below a family with young children so I could hear talking, TV and the patter of little feet into the night. This is not a complaint -- families should travel with their kids and we older people should think back to the days when we did too -- but it was a bit noisy.

Hidden gem!

Liked: Loved the wine and cheese, and cookies
Disliked: One, blonde desk attendant was really rude. No manners, no greetings. Nothing. No smiles!

Historic charm at a great...

Liked: Very historic: there were historical photos and newspaper articles dating back to the building’s construction. It was unique and the room was large and well thought out. The visitors center was attached which is worth a stop in.
Disliked: One small elevator only goes to 3rd floor.
