Liked: Comfy night good breakfast And evening meal friendly staff

Not as grand as it...

Liked: It was old and “original” (imagine the decor hadn’t been updated since it was built) but had a lift!
Disliked: Where to start ….It is rather run down and neglected.We started with room 17, but it was dismal to say the least and smelled a bit rancid. Luckily, the young lady at reception put us into room 107 which was much better - this compensated for the bad start.

Liked: We booked last minute during the storm, we had no electricity but it was not the hotels fault at all they tried their absolute best to give us our room in the dark with 50+ people waiting.
Disliked: Really expensive for what it is.. old and kinda noisy if your room is one of the first after the stairs. Double Bed is so small and like « bouncy » so when your partner moves you get halfway thrown off the bed. The entire hotel would benefit from a good refresh.

Liked: Location was beautiful, hotel had alot of charm but felt that it needed a little more love.
Disliked: Only concerns were no coffee available after 5pm which we found a little strange and the windows needed cleaning

Liked: Location, room availability Breakfast was good and plentiful
Disliked: Room wasn’t cleaned when I got key at 6pm. Empty shampoo and shower gel and soggy towels from previous resident. When I complained they brought new towels and shampoo. Didn’t look like the bed had fresh sheets on it either as could see one side of bed looked like it had been slept in.Room I was in was very old fashioned.
