Slightly overpriced to be worth...

Liked: The staff member working in the gym was really nice. The room was big and the bed comfy with a nice view. The sauna was really good, the gym on the small side, the lessons in the pool so I didn't get chance to use it, but it looked quite nice.
Disliked: Found a toenail on the floor in my room and lots of bits on the carpet, so doesn't seem like it would have been vacuumed particularly thoroughly. There was a bright green light illuminating the room all night (a fire exit thing, but you don't see it in other hotels) that I had to cover up. The extractor fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet engine. The corridors smelled of cigarette smoke (although that isn't necessarily the fault of the hotel, and may have been 1 bad guest).Overall I'd say it felt about £10 overpriced (or had the price included a cooked breakfast it would have been fairly priced - the hotel doesn't offer breakfast) and if there wasn't an extra charge to use the gym (the steam room and jacuzzi were out of action).

Disliked: Broken things in room - ironing board, window wouldn't shut properly and it was the ground floor which was a concern Very much needs updating

Spacious but in need of...

Liked: The rooms were a good size and the staff were very friendly and helpful. And did the very best with the facilities they have to work with
Disliked: The whole place needs some TLC you can tell they've tried to upgrade the bathrooms and the decor. But everything is miss matched and mattresses pillows etc need replacing it's a great location. But is in desperate need of a quality re vamp and the breakfast experience needs a lot of work.
