Staff attitude indifferent; rooms very tired and in need of redecoration. Not one piece of clean glassware or crockery - everything just put on table without checking. Location fine but do not choose this place for a special occasion!

Liked: Everything. From the warm welcome to the cleanliness of the room through to the excellent service and great meal. Nothing could have been better.

Liked: The location is stunning. The bar and restaurant was second to none with exceptional with great service.Nice touch to be left with a kettle, iron and hairdryer in the room.
Disliked: Room 6 looked lovely on arrival. When we returned to the room late we spent an hour trying to eradicate all the mosquitos. Whilst doing this we discovered the room was very dusty. Cobwebs, dust on the lamp shade and surrounds not to mention thick dust on the fan provided. I reported the mosquito bed fellows and the numerous bites received to be told “it is June” and they do spray. I pointed out as it is June then they need to put in plug in repellants. Not what I expect when charged £215 for a night. I received less bites in Africa! This was bit of a sad end to a great day

Disliked: Stains on carpet in room 7. Bathroom door rotting. Bathroom floor dirty. Toilet seat stained. Bedside lamp cracked. Lovely property but tired and needs a bit of tlc.
