Very good

Liked: Beautiful views. Friendly staff. Nice pool. Nice fitness center. Comfortable room.
Disliked: Missed having in-room amenities like microwave, fridge, hairdryer, and coffee maker. No staff to help with kayaks (only 1 paddle), fishing or pickleball equipment.

A great getaway spot we...

Liked: The location, in the country near Lake Brownwood, is idyllic. Morning sunrises and sunsets help create a very relaxing getaway.
Disliked: The room was somewhat muggy, though nice and cool. The carpet is in need of updating and the bed was good the first night or two - by day 3 our backs were hurting. Mattresses need an upgrade.
