Best place to stay in...

Liked: Clean family cabin with satellite TV and amazing views of the golf course nature and lake Brownwood.New pickleball courts, full gym, hot tub and pool, great restaurant and bar. Wildlife roaming. Just a great place to be.
Disliked: I liked it all.

Liked: I didn’t like it, in fact upon entering the room, it smelled so bad, it kicked off allergies and I couldn’t quit sneezing. There were dead bugs in the frame of the sliding glass door. I immediately went back to the front desk and told them I was leaving and would not stay.

Great place!

Liked: It was very quiet and clean, comfy beds as well!
Disliked: The remote to the tvs didn't work and there was no deadbolt to lock the door.

Very good

Liked: Setting is beautiful. Great golf course, beautiful pool. Relaxing atmosphere.
Disliked: AC units are loud with very bright lights late at night. No coffee makers in the rooms, and nobody working the coffee shop in the lobby. I literally went by around 7 and 8 no one was there. For $330/night, too high, worth more like $200.

I'd go back

Liked: The bed was the most comfortable I've probably ever slept on! The resort was very quiet, very relaxing and serene. This place is severely underrated and if they marketed it better I'm sure it would be super busy but in the meantime it'll just be a BEST KEPT SECRET of the area. I didn't golf but the course looked great from what I could see (there were quite a few groups golfing).
Disliked: The restaurant on-site was closed so I had to drive around to try to find something on a Sunday at 7pm; there was also no microwave in my room so it wasn't an option to pick up something frozen and bring it back. I wish they would give you a list of local places/menus or at least have some kind of food options for purchase (even a vending machine?). I also wish this resort was closer to the lake/had lake access.

Good

Liked: We loved the location. It was quiet, no lights blocking the night sky. And the view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful. The staff was nice and very eggar to make our stay comfortable.
Disliked: There was no ice bucket in the room. The mattresses need to be upgraded, they are a little old

Everything was great

Liked: Everything was fantastic….. the wait time on breakfast would be my only complaint, not sure why it took 45 minutes for 2 breakfast to be made and brought to the table. It wasn’t crowded, our items were straight off the menu. We will stay again, just might run into town next time before waiting that long in the breakfast, bar area.
