Liked: Location
Disliked: No elevator due to it being a historic building. Which is fine but they should consider hiring someone willing to carry luggage up and down the stairs for a fee. I certainly would have paid gladly.

Liked: Room was wonderful. I already booked my reservation for next year.
Disliked: Pool and family guests, who seemed to commandeer common sections of the porch and pool area (as if it were there's to use exclusively).

Liked: Location and staff were excellent. Continental breakfast was better than expected with fresh pastries and fruit. Room was very nice and large.
Disliked: The room could have used a new rug which they were installing downstairs. The only other dislike was the train noise which you will hear no matter where you stay in Spring Lake. This is not a reflection on the hotel. The only other thing is next time I will get a room on a lower floor. We had a beautiful top floor room but had to climb 5 flights of stairs to reach.
