Lovey nek great staff

Liked: Location is lovley hotel is lovley we never have breakfast at hotel as tried it 3 times and was denided fried egg which is all we have with toast so £10 for tea and toast quite expensive.
Disliked: The food let's this hotel down its a really lovley hotel I love it but we will go to local pub for food now we keep giving it a go but not anymore my chicken was inedible so not wanting to appear rude my partner ate it he was ill for 2 days after that there is so much wrong with the restaurant, which is a shame as it could be a goldmine

Good for the price, good...

Liked: The staff were friendly, breakfast was lovely, rooms clean and comfy
Disliked: Bathrooms need a refurb, quiet moldyWoken at 6am with pipes in bathroom making a loud tapping

Liked: My now husband and I had our wedding here. Had beautiful day surrounded by family and friends. The venue on the day was dressed beautifully.The staff were all very helpful and made us all feel welcome.Big Thanks to Sasha our wedding coordinator
Disliked: Few things that need doing we think would be a good clean on the ground floor in the hallway leading to the rooms, as very unpleasant smell.I do believe the hotel is undergoing a refurbishment though.Upper floor didn't have the smell thankfully where some of our family and friends were staying.The rooms themselves thankfully didn't have that smell.The honeymoon suite is amazing as long as you don't look at the nets and window, definitely think windows need replacing before the damp penetrates anymore.

Disliked: Old, dated and run down , particularly the bathroom.

Liked: My favourite part about the room was the king chair in corner of room my Pauline loved sitting on there all weekend she was very comfortable and pleased with how comfy..
Disliked: Stains on the mattress and the pillows weren’t very comfy walls very thin could hear everything.

Bed uncomfortable due to 1...

Liked: The room and bed were clean
Disliked: There was only 1 thin pillow. I asked for additional pillows but was told that, as there was a wedding on, and the hotel had wedding guests, there were no more pillows. The wi fi stopped at the door, it was not available in the room.

Not as luxury as they...

Liked: Comfortable beds
Disliked: Very uncomfortable, lumpy pillows. Mouldy shower. Dirty, dusty bathroom. Toilet hadn't been cleaned. Very expensive for what you get.

Unwelcoming, cold and dirty

Liked: The shower was the only good thing, however the bathroom was dated and needed a good clean!
Disliked: The damp smell, the dirty windows, the fact that the bed didn’t have a mattress protector and only a sheet on it. The lack of a coffee machine and chocolate which were advertised. The wooden floor… to name a few

Very good

Liked: I can't fault the staff or the service
Disliked: Very disappointed that you had to go into the bar area to use the wifi, as soon as you went through the fire doors the internet cut off.For that reason alone, I would have to find somewhere else next time
