Overlooking the bay just 200 yards from Torre Abbey beach The Heritage Hotel Complex features a prime south facing location in the heart of Torquay. The hotel has 24 bedrooms of which the majority of rooms have sea views. All rooms have private bathrooms with either a shower or a bath. All rooms have hairdryers toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. There is free wifi throughout the hotel. Sky TV features in all rooms except the 3 garden rooms which are Freeview. There is also a health club complex attached consisting of an indoor pool which guests have access to for a small charge. The Heritage Hotel complex also features Appleby's the adjoining bar and restaurant which is one of Torquay's best-known destination venues featuring bay views a spacious bar and lounge area with large-screen HD TVs showing live sports. The bar also has a large sun terrace which you can relax on and soak up the sun. The Venue hosts live music on a daily basis. The restaurant offers a variety of breakfast options to include continental and cooked options. Delicious lunch and evening meals are also served seven days a week. The Heritage Hotel is just a short walk from Torquay harbor the Riviera Conference Center Princess Theater and town center shops. The hotel has its own car park and is next to a large public car park. The car park is free and is on a first come first serve basis.

Superb

Liked: Everything about where we stayed, from the amazing hotel room, the incredible views we had, the welcoming atmosphere, all your staff are a credit to your company, very polite and helpful! The chap on reception who booked us in, was lovely and knowledgeable, we loved the balcony views whilst sat outside having a drink! The location was perfect, short walk to the beach and town centre.
Disliked: Nothing to complain about.

Really lovely stay

Liked: This hotel is in a great location right by the seafront and a few minutes walk from the marina. Lovely room with a beautiful sea view. Really nice breakfast, the bar is friendly with good vibes, and the outdoor terrace is great. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the excellent customer service really stands out.
Disliked: Nothing, I was happy with everything

Superb

Liked: Friendly folk, great location, good food and fine for a solo traveller.
Disliked: Clean, but some deep cleaning could be done, skirting ledges etc.

Heritage Hotel was not as...

Liked: It was very convenient to have a restaurant at the hotel. We had a problem with our door lock and they fixed it immediately.
Disliked: The hotel was not really as pictured. The beds were not very comfortable and our window to our room looked out on a very busy road with noisy motorcycles at all hours of the night. Lots of stairs and perched on a hillside. With heavy bags it was difficult. No lift.

This place is more like...

Disliked: The person checking us in was very disinterested, rattled off instructions and directions to our room, didnt ask us if we needed a porter for our luggage, room was literally in the car park, boiling hot and stuffy. Went up to ask for another room which he advised there wasnt any available, he did provide us with a fan when I asked, it was an effort though, shower was blocked and the bathroom started flooding, we managed to sort that out. To lock the door was pretty tricky, advised the reception, who just said it does lock, didnt come and show us, we managed to sort it out ourselves. Breakfast was average

Liked: Lovely place to stay, the room was excellent.Plenty of tea and coffee supplied in our room, The staff are nice, The hotel in a brilliant location.
Disliked: Breakfast could be better with more choice of cerealAnd a selection of fruit?.
